This week's flashback is a continuation of last week's, when we revisited Ages 25 & Up's long-lost sister comic, Batteries Not Included. BNI ran exclusively on CrimsonMonkey.com from 2010 to 2012, but I had to pull the plug in order to work on #200.
Since then, there's been no trace of the comic as Crimson Monkey has grown over the years, and the unexpected shutdown of the imaging hosting service I was using at the time meant my own archive was lost. So basically, BNI hasn't been online in years, and other than on my old laptop's hard drive, pretty much forgotten.
I figured it might be a good idea to feature the old comic in last week's Flashback, since many of you might never have had a chance to check them out. This week's Flashback is the last batch of Batteries Not Included, with many strips lampooning some kind of pop-culture goings-on of the month during which they were originally posted.
See what you think, and see if you can jog your memory and figure out just what the hell the comics were referring to.
