For those who are wondering, this story (which began with #230 "Mall B.A.T.s"), is a tribute to ReBoot, the influential Canadian cartoon which was the first fully-computer-animated TV show ever. I've had several tributes in the past, including a loose parody of Metal Gear Solid, a farewell story to LEGO Bionicle, an homage to Fight Club, and more recently, a one-shot salute to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but this ReBoot one is the one that means the most to me.
