Hey Numbers, My name's Adam and I just found this awesome site a few days ago. I started reading from issue one and I've got to say, I'm loving it! (unless that phrase is copyrighted by McDonald's)
Anyway, I've got a couple questions. I'm curious who this female Cobra figure is in this issue. Is she a custom? Also, how do you make those cool looking paper crates? Is there somewhere I can download the image?
Thanks for your time, and keep up the fantastic work, man!
Thanks for checking out the site! If you have any other questions, concerns, or comments, post away and I'll do my best to provide a decent answer.
The female Cobra figure is a character a friend made up for me to use in the comic. She's Meredith, the best Cobra "Supplier Relations" agent there is. #171 is the first issue in a story that features her and her former partner-in-crime, Stinger driver Roy, in a revenge plot against Clutch, the Joes' premiere greasemonkey.
The paper crates came from Hasbro's Indiana Jones toy line that came out at the time of... that fourth movie we don't talk about. Each figure had an artifact accessory that came in a crate from the Warehouse. There were several different sizes of crates available, depending on the piece that was inside them.
Celebrate 25 years of A Real American Hero with Ages 25 & Up, the online action figure comic strip with kung-fu grip and balljoints of steel.
New comics are posted on/by Mondays.
