I just want to let you guys know that the next comic will be late. I don't mean "posted sometime during the night on Saturday" late, I'm talking "it's Friday evening and I haven't finalized the script yet, and I'm going out tonight and tomorrow and have stuff to do on Sunday" late.
Look, I'll do my best to get something up, but it will be short if I get it posted in time at all. If I can't, then screw it, I'll just scrap it and try to make the Christmas issue make up for it. That and I owe you guys some Batteries Not Included, too.
How does this sound to you?

Thanks, Dave, but last week's comic is cancelled. The next strip will be the Christmas issue, which will be up on Christmas Eve.
Personally, I'd rather wait for quality than get a mediocre rushed job. That is how things like "Rise of Cobra" happen!
Seriously, though no worries here. Loving the comic so far (having found it and spending about a day and a half getting caught up). Keep up the great work and happy holidays!
Thanks a lot, knomadd! The Christmas issue will be up tomorrow (well, maybe tonight if I work fast enough). I don't like taking weeks off because I feel like I'm letting you guys down, but when I do take a week off, I tend to have a good reason!
