I feel the same way. It's going to be a dark day indeed when people forget.
I think that a lot of people nowadays just can't relate to WWI because of how long ago it's been. Many people have WWII stories (or survivors) in their families, but I guess WWI was just so long ago.
That's no excuse, though. If we don't remember the past and learn, the future will indeed be grim.
